Introduction to Susan Welsh's Therapeutic Tai Chi, Qigong, and Wellness Program

This 12 hour, Online CEU courses will teach you easy and gentle Tai Chi movements you can use right away with your patients and clients. This two-day course introduces rehabilitation professionals to Dr. Welsh’s Tai Chi, Qigong, and Wellness Program for people with varying needs and abilities and for use in both clinical and wellness settings. This is the first course in Susan Welsh’s Therapeutic Tai Chi, Qigong, and Wellness Teacher Certification Program and is a good beginning course for anyone interested in learning Tai Chi.


Tai Chi practice will benefit you, your patients, and your practice. Dr. Welsh’s Therapeutic Tai Chi, Qigong, and Wellness Program is simple, fun, easy-to-learn, safe, and evidence-based.Participants learn Dr. Yang’s Evidence-Based 7 part Tai Chi Form, Qigong exercises, and wellness practices that focus on applications to clinical and wellness clients. Course participants leave energized, with new skills to help them and their patients/clients feel better, move easier, and with more energy and confidence.

Teacher certification in Dr. Welsh’s Program is now available and includes attending 4 weekend courses plus mentoring and testing. Participants don’t need to pursue teacher certification to take courses, and all courses can be taken without first attending the Introduction course. Tai Chi is a powerful and relaxing mind-body practice that has been shown to improve mental focus and physical abilities like strength, mobility, balance, and agility. Individuals who practice Tai Chi have also demonstrated improved immune function and better
sleep.
